Information About Teaching Evaluations
While there is an important and ongoing debate about the efficacy and utility of teaching evaluations across disciplines, I believe it is important to be transparent about that information as it is collected. Although there is sufficient evidence to suggest that the terms used to evaluate faculty and instructors often present prejudiced, biased, and discriminatory critiques, I often employ the more qualitative feedback in developing future courses.
